Raised in Riverdale, Georgia Cheri began drawing at a very young age. By age 10 she began working in charcoal.  By high school she developed a deep passion for watercolors winning a few awards for her talents. Cheri received a Fine Arts degree from West Georgia College.  While there she joined the West Georgia Players Theatre group and found a new talent and passion for Costume Design. After graduation she was offered a fellowship at the University of Virginia and went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts in the Area of Costume Design.

After graduate school, a love of travel and theatre led her to Europe, New Zealand and finally to Los Angeles. Once in LA, Cheri spent 25 years in the the film industry as a Costume Designer and Stylist. During her years as Costume Designer for Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, Cheri had the honor of being nominated for an Emmy. Soon thereafter she gave birth to her daughter, Gabriella. Cheri then teamed up with Jane Seymour to work as her head designer working on numerous projects through the years such as a clothing line, JS Home collections and the Open Hearts by Jane Seymour jewelry collection with KAY.
